Simple Start Package

Our Simple Start bookkeeping package includes monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, transaction categorization (coding income and expenses), and the preparation of core financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet). These services maintain accurate records for tax preparation, covering a limited number of monthly transactions.

Core Components of Our Simple Start Package:

  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation: Monthly balancing of business bank and credit card accounts to ensure records match statements.
  • Standard onboarding:   General setup of accounting software
  • Transaction Categorization: Recording and classifying income and expenses (e.g., in QuickBooks or Xero).
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Generation of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reports.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
  • Receipt Management: Digitizing or organizing expense receipts. 

Limits of Simple Start Package:

  • Limited transaction volume (under 100-150 transactions per month).
  • Limited number of bank accounts (2 accounts max).
  • Excludes payroll, accounts payable/receivable management, and complex tax filing. 

Common Add-ons:

  • Payroll Processing: Managing employee payments and tax compliance.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR): Managing vendor payments and client invoicing.
